October 2010 Itinerary

Saturday, May 22, 2010
On our last trip we ditched 2 reservations because we just didn't feel like being on a time constraint and feeling rushed to get somewhere. I wasn't planning on making many dining reservations for this trip because of that reason but, oh I don't know, dining plans are so much fun to make! Here is our itinerary with dining:

  • Wed. 10/6: Arrive late morning. Fawn won't arrive until around 4 pm so hopefully our rooms will be ready early so we can settle in. I'd love to hit the MK for a bit before dinner. Dinner reservations at 'Ohana @ 8:05 pm. I purposely picked a late time to give Fawn enough time to get in and settled and us enough time to get from SSR (by way of DTD buses I am guessing?) to the Polynesian Resort. Plus, we LOVED it at that time this last trip; we got to watch Wishes while we ate!
  •  Thurs. 10/7: I got nothin' LOL--no plans at all. Maybe we'll hit Animal Kingdom since we skipped it this last trip or maybe we'll hit DHS, the kids LOVE the Block Party Bash parade.
  • Fri. 10/8: We're going to take it easy this day since we will be at MNSSHP at night. Lunch at T-Rex in DTD. I hear the food is mediocre but everyone wants to try it since we all enjoyed the Rainforest Cafe. Then maybe back to SSR to swim, then a nap. Head to the MK around 6 pm or so? If you've been to MNSSHP, what time is a good time to arrive?

  • Sat. 10/9: Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table @ 10:15 am. I wanted to have an early breakfast so we could be in the MK when it's empty but there is no way we'll be at MNSSHP late, then be able to get up early enough to be ready and at the MK from SSR! Not sure what else we'll do, maybe check out a park we missed. (AK or DHS)

  • Sun. 10/10: This may be a MK/Epcot day. We have dinner reservations at Germany's Biergarten in Epcot @ 7:30 pm and if IlumiNations is scheduled for that night we'll be able to eat and then see it shortly after dinner. Perfect timing. We (except for Fawn) ate at the Biergarten during this last trip and really enjoyed it! Here's me dancing with Wyatt and Dante, LOL!

CJ's least favorite park is Epcot BUT we'll be there during the Wine and Food Festival so I'd really like to spend some time there.

When we went to MNSSHP we got there around 5/6 pm. It was great because they were just starting to kick all the guest not attending the party out and the park was pretty empty by 7 pm ! The best part is just being able to walk onto ALL the rides. Some rides we just stayed on because there were no people waiting ! LOVED it. The fireworks though, make the whole night SO worth it ... my dd and I STILL talk about it. I cant wait to see them again. Hopefully this year ..

Awesome! I am making a list of all the rides we want to expereince but never seem to be able to because of time or lines. I wanna know just HOW they get people out of the park? I bet some hide in the bathrooms, LOL

Well, they start handing out wristbands at around 5 pm to attending guests, (this is usually done at the Rose garden) then by 7 pm if you dont have a wristband you cant get on rides and they start looking for people without them. Not sure how they go about getting them ALL out though.
