October 2010 Trip Update

We originally were to arrive at Bay Lake Tower on Friday, Oct. 8th and head back home on Monday, Oct. 11th. I was just not happy with the idea of getting to WDW on a Friday; the same night MNSSHP is happening and then dragging the kids to it and hoping they enjoy it.

I was hoping to add a day onto the trip, preferably Thursday, Oct. 7th, so I called Member Services and well, no dice. Nothing available on Thursday the 7th or Monday the 11th. I did not want to be at another resort for only 1 night so I asked what other resorts were open from October 7th - 11th and the only one was Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

I grabbed it! I am so excited. I think this resort is beautiful - I didn't chose it as our home resort because of the location. I like that Bay Lake Tower is a walk away from the Magic Kingdom. Saratoga Springs Resort is close to Downtown Disney's West Side, so we'll be using the buses.

So, we'll arrive on Thursday, October 7th and we leave Monday, October 11th!
