In about 2 days I will be calling to make reservations for our October 2010 trip to Disney! This is the first time we have ever planned to go to Disney twice in one year!
As a Disney Vacation Member, I bought 320 points, which I immediately received in August when I bought them. My 'use year' - which is actually the month I get 320 points each year, is February. So, I got 320 points in August when I joined. This coming February I get my yearly points (320) and that means for our April/May trip we have 640 points! I splurged a bit and chose a 2 bedroom villa with a Magic Kingdom view. The trip cost us 511 points.
We have 129 points left to either carry over to 2011 or use. We decided to use them and have a quick trip to Disney in October. We want to check out MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival so we will most likely only be visiting the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. We will be there from a Friday to a Monday, which really only gives us 3 days but that is enough time to have some good fun!
I am really looking forward to this Halloween trip since our last Halloween was terrible!
