This is now the second draft! Read the first draft
Driving down from Pa to Fl will take 2 days, it will be me, CJ, 3 kids and grandma
Arrive Friday, 4/30 and stop at grocery store first - then check in at Bay Lake Tower
* check in, stand in room mesmerized for like hours, snap out of it (sort of) put groceries away and unpack.
* head to Epcot
* dinner at Biergarten around 6ish?
* Enjoy Epcot at a slow pace, stay for IllumiNations fireworks
Saturday, 5/1
* breakfast in room
* check out pool
* enjoy resort/relax
* head to the Beach Club (by our own vehicle) and go to Cape May Cafe for dinner at about 5:30 - this is just for grandma as she REALLY wants to check out the clam bake
* Not sure what to do after dinner? Maybe Beaches N Cream Soda Shop - ice cream YUM!
* Go back to Bay Lake Tower to watch Wishes from either the room or the 'Top of the World' lounge!
Sunday, 5/2
* breakfast in room
* Magic Kingdom day
* Lunch at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe
* Olivia wants to get a Princess makeover at Bippity Boppity Boutique so we'll do that after lunch
* Have a lazy day at MK or return to BLT to rest - depends on how everyone feels.
* Dinner at 1900 Park Fare around 6ish? Olivia can see Cinderella and the Prince while she is in her gown! Watch Wishes from either the room or the 'Top of the World' lounge!
Monday, 5/3
* take grandma to the airport (hopefully we get her a fairly early flight)
My MIL Fawn and my best friend Cherie will be arriving this day. I am guessing this day is good to use as a down day. One thing we really want to do is visit other resorts and even though we're going to Cape May Cafe at BC for grandma, CJ and I really want to try out Captain's Grille so I think this may be a good day to head back to BC for that meal. I thought then maybe we could head over to the Boardwalk Resort and check it out.
Are there lots of things to do at Boardwalk? Is it similar to an actual boardwalk, with games and shops, etc? If so, I think we'd all love to check it out.
Tuesday, 5/4
* Up early - quick breakfast in room
* Head to Animal Kingdom
* Take snacks along - no meals/snacks there
* Back to BLT around 3ish
* Relax, check out pool or nap
* Dinner at Ohana's around 6 (we LOVE the Polynesian Resort so we HAVE to go there at least once!)
* Watch Wishes from the Top of the World Lounge at BLT
Wednesday, 5/5
* breakfast in the room
* Magic Kingdom
* back to the room for relaxing and something to eat
* Epcot for the evening. This way we are not at MK ALL day or Epcot ALL day. Dinner at San Angel Inn in Mexico.
* Stay for IlumiNations
Thursday, 5/6
* breakfast in the room
* Disneys Hollywood Studious for the day (maybe arrive around 10 or 11)
* Late lunch at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater - we weren't too impressed last tine we were there but we'll give it a whirl again.
* would love to see Fantasmic - if it's showing this day
* If no Fantasmic, either early night back to BLT or ???? (what else could we do?)
Friday, 5/7
Last full day - free day. Would like to have a nice sit down dinner - not sure where. Suggestions? Maybe Downtown Disney for some shopping?
* breakfast in room/pack
* DTD to shop
* Lunch at Earl of Sandwich
* Back to room
* Dinner at Chef Mickey’s
* MK for the evening to see SpectroMagic Parade and then Wishes in the park

Sounds like a pretty good plan !
Have you guys been to T-Rex in DTD yet ? My boys absolutely loved it and the food was actually pretty good. I got the ribs and only wished my tummy was big enough to be able to eat them all ! lol
Disney Quest is a little over stimulating for my boys. Lots going on and hard to keep track of them in there. We usually skip it .. maybe in a few years we'll try it again.
Btw .. my dd and I are planning a quick trip (without the twins) around the same time you guys are going.I hope we can pull it off .. I need a break ! lol
Michelle,
Okay - do we know each other? A forum? :-D
I have been rethinking Disney Quest - my ids are still pretty young so I am betting this would be better for the when they're older.
T-Rex looks cool but last year Wyatt was still ind of afraid of the Disney characters - not sure how he'd be with huge dinosaurs

Sounds like your headed for a fabulous vacation. My family and I go every year. We are Vacation Club members and it is totally worth it. We are headed in April as well but it's during my girls April vacation. If you're looking for a place to eat in Hollywood Studio's check out the Sci Fi Diner. It's my kids favorite. It's set up like a drive in and the tables are cars. The food is very good and the waitress sometimes are on roller skates. For Epcot sounds like you've hit all my favorite places but the Japanese restaurant. My husband and I went with out the children and we loved it. It's wonderful to watch them cook right in front of you. They put on a great show and the food was fresh and delicious. I would also recommend the Rose and Crown and if you choose this make the reservations a little later and if you ask they'll seat you on the deck for a great spot to watch Illuminations.
The Boardwalk area is fun and there are wonderful places to eat and a few games and some shows pop up to watch.
Finally a great place to eat is Fulton's crab house. The food is wonderful and the kids like eating there as well. I hope you have a great time. If I can help anymore let me know.

Hi JAS! Which is your home resort? We were to Sci-Fi this past May and thought it was okay - our waiter was a dud *DONT_KNOW* so it wasn't as 'fun' as I thought it would be. On our last trip we did eat at Teppan Edo and enjoyed it BUT the Japanese steakhouses around here are actually more entertaining! :-D
I can't wait to go back!
