Disney Dining Reservations 180 Days

Sunday, October 25, 2009
Starting October 27, 2009, Disney is going back to allowing people to make their dining reservations 180 days prior to arrival. It had been this way for a while and then they changed it up to 90 days, which of course had people, including myself, freaking out. There are a few restaurants that fill up quickly and I know I personally like to have things planned well in advance so I am a fan of the 180 day window.

Since it's going back to 180 days, I will be able to book our dining reservations within the week! I am so excited! Only one dilemma, The Wave or Chef Mickey's? Both are at the Contemporary. We've never been to The Wave.

We've been to Chef Mickey's twice and well, the adults in the group were not impressed. The food is sub par and the place is total chaos - however, our kids LOVE it there.

I really want to try The Wave but I am leaning more towards Chef Mickey's, because of the kids. I guess since we are now DVC members and we will be going to Disney often we have plenty of time to try new places. Maybe when the kids are older and outgrow their love for Chef Mickey's? Is that even possible?
