Walt Disney World Vacation '09 - Day 3 part 6 - Wishes Cruise

Sunday, May 17, 2009
I booked this Wishes Cruise when I made ADRs - I chose the MAGIC KINGDOM WISHES PREMIUM CRUISE which includes the following:
  • 25' Tracker Pontoon
  • -$319.50, tax included for up to 10 guests. Price includes pontoon boat, driver, water, soda, bagged snacks and AUDIO FEED
  • -Guests may order Private Dining to be delivered to the cruise
We didn't include the private dining as I thought since this would be the kids first time on a boat, I'd have enough to worry about! We got back to the Polynesian in time for a quick potty break, I paid our Captain, and we got life jackets on the kids - which they were fine with. I thought for sure I'd get a fight from one or both of the boys but I didn't!

Our Captain, I believe he went by 'DT' was wonderful - very nice and made us feel comfortable.
The kids got some snacks and off we went!

DT gave some background information and history of Disney and of the Seven Seas Lagoon and it was very interesting, some I knew and some I had no idea about!

Waiting for Wishes to start:

Our boat played music so we got to see the show with the audio that you would hear if you were in the Magic Kingdom!

It was pretty amazing to be out there to watch Wishes. I definitely felt 'Disney magic' and I would LOVE to go on another cruise again.

After the show, just hanging out on the boat:

DT kept us out there so we could see the Electrical Water Pageant which was neat to see while on the boat! Then we were just cruising around, eating snacks and talking when Dante announced he had to go to the bathroom and so we headed back to the dock. We would have stayed out longer if that hadn't had happened but oh well, it was a very enjoyable experience!

Next, Hollywood Studios!

To be continued...

Thanks so much for the information on the Wishes Fireworks cruise. We almost did this last time, but tried too late and couldn't get a cruise during the time we were going to be there. It sounds sooooo awesome!Love your story at the end about having to go in early - sounds like what would happen to us :)

Hi there!

You know, It was AWESOME - of course, I think $320 was a pretty steep price but then again what isn't in Disney? ;)
