Walt Disney World Vacation '09 - Day 1 Part 4

We headed to Fantasyland so the kids could get on some rides. First stop was The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh - I figured this ride should be pretty mild and Wyatt should be fine. WRONG! Yep, he screamed through this entire ride too! Sheesh!
I was hoping to check out Mickey’s PhilharMagic but after seeing Wyatt totally freak out on rides, I figured a 3-D show may not be a good idea.

This evening was absolutely perfect. Awesome weather and low crowds! We didn't wait more than 10 minutes for anything! We were about to go on Cinderella's Golden Carousel when it happened! We saw action going on at Ariel's Grotto - they were just about to close it up for the night. Now, Ariel is Olivia's absolute favorite Princess and last year the Grotto was closed. In fact, last year the only time we saw Ariel was in a parade at the MK. I was so excited, I bolted over to ask if we could please get in! We did! There were not very many people in line and we only waited about 15 minutes or so to see Ariel!

Dante had enough of the 'girlie' stuff at this point. He left the area but Olivia stayed for a few more photos.

I was so happy! What a day! Dante got to meet Buzz and Livi got to meet Ariel, the weather was awesome and the crowds were low! Dante and Livi got in one more ride before we headed out of the MK for the night.

After that we left the MK. We decided to take the boat launch back to the Polynesian Resort and as luck would have it, just as we got on the boat, Wishes started! PERFECT!
