Walt Disney World Vacation '08 - Day 4 Part 3

Friday, May 30, 2008
We all headed for the Magic Kingdom around 3:30 pm or so and planned on eating in the park instead of eating before going. The kids had a snack and they were ready to go. So far so good, this day was going well! Then, it got better...my mom informed me that she and my grandma weren't going to travel the park. They just wanted to stay on Main St and go in the shops. Once we got to the park, I felt like a little kid! I made a dash for the entrance!

Once inside, we got to meet Chip and Dale!

Entertainment on Main St:

The Castle!!!

Once inside, CJ, his mom, the 3 kids and I head to Fantasy Land in hopes of seeing Ariel at Ariel's Grotto

CJ thought he was funny when he took this photo:

ANYWAY...Ariel is Olivia's absolute favorite Princess. She even had to have an Ariel swim suit. We picked up the pace and headed directly there and of course, it happened. I mean, this day had been going to good so SOMETHING had to give, right?

Yea, the place was under construction. I don't know when it began, I had no clue when it would end but I knew one thing, my little girl was not going to get to meet Ariel now. She was upset enough that Ariel wasn't part of the Princess breakfast in Norway at Epcot, now this. She didn't understand and kept asking where Ariel went and when would she be back? UGH
*sigh* okay, so we kept walking. We headed over to Mickey's Toontown Fair

The first thing Livi wanted to go on was The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm, so she and CJ went on it.

When they got off the ride CJ told me Olivia told him it was the *Kiddie Coaster from Hell* LOL
Apparently it was a bit wild for a little roller coaster!

After that we wandered around for a bit and let the kids play:

Of course Dante had his finger in his mouth this time. He's so photogenic, hahahaa.

We worked our way over to the train station and decided we take a ride, full circle, on the train. Afterall, Dante LOVES Thomas the Train and Olivia did when she was younger...

To be continued...
